I enjoyed this immensely. Sitting on my couch in New Jersey, I was brought back to my trip years ago to the moors. I now yearn to return. Thanks, Tom! Can’t wait to hear more.
I’m finding it hard to describe my experience of listening to this podcast. I am familiar with Tom’s flights of fancy, but this is word craft that fuses satire and silliness in a brilliantly entertaining visit to a moorland otherworld.
Some real gems – ‘untrustworthy as a plumber’s diary’, ‘rusting farm machinery like sad old robots….’
Especially liked the characters, Beth the grate obsessed farmer’s daughter, the lustful dinosaur, Eleanor the Owl, Roger and his egg money. And the confessions of the dead…..!
Can’t wait for a quiet moment to enjoy Episode 2 alone with a cup of tea.
Bloody marvellous. I’d love to spend an hour inside your head.

Love the podcast! Can’t wait to meet more characters from the moor!
